We live on 3 acres the front half is where our house and yard is the back half we leave natural with field and woods for our critter friends. Our property has been designated as a wildlife Habitat from the National Wildlife Federation.
. We use to raise calves here and after that we let it go, as a result our woods are full of goose berry and blackberry and too much poison ivy for anyone and our field has gone from a cultivated pasture to a more natural one with grasses that don't get as tall and wild flowers of all types bloom in their season. I have had deer, skunk , fox, turkey ,bobwhite quail, rabbit, field mice, and lots of black snakes and garter snakes, box turtles, possum, raccoon and armadillo . I love to see wild life come through and so I make my property more inviting to them.
