Welcome and Merry Meet, this is my blog THE MYSTIC OWL. Spiritual Ponderings of my journey with TAROT and LIFE ,while traveling on the SPIRAL MYSTICAL PATH. When I was born I was named Patricia,my family called me Patty and others call me Pat , here I go by either Owlthena or PATC ,which are my initials. I am mother of 2 grown and wonderfully independent and strong daughters,a Granny of 5 and a Great Granny of 1 .I am just recently widowed ,July 2,2017 ,we would have been married 40 years Aug.6. I now live alone with my furry companion MOJO and a stray cat that visits us often. I live alone on 3 acres about 7 miles from a small town in the Missouri Ozarks .
I am able to walk some but my hip and knee is bone on bone so walking is done at times throughout my day when I am able. But most of the time I use a manual wheel chair inside the house and an electric wheelchair when I go outside in the yard to exercise my Mojo.
My furry companion , MOJO is a Morkie, he is more cat like than a dog, spends most of his time above me in my recliner, so of course he thinks he rules the roost. He tells me when I need to get up and move around and tend to him since the world revolves around him, right?
From the age of 10 I haved lived in the Missouri Ozark mountains and continue to live in the Ozarks as a country Christian Mystic and Crone. The reason I call my spiritual path Spiral is because people want a label so they can define you and place you in a box, well I jumped out of the box years ago. So I chose as the 'official' name of my path THE SPIRAL PATH . So why Spiral? Because most of my lessons in life have been presented to me throughout my life journey as a spiral ,not really on a straight path or just circular but both. I find that I have revisited various lessons over and over but from a different perspective which looks and acts like a spiral and this has been true no matter the religion I was visiting at the time.
I am a PROGRESSIVE~ PAN-EN-THEIST ~MYSTIC and Christ follower ,re-visioning the ANCIENT WAYS in a modern progressive way. I am interested in container GARDENING,FARMING,CRYSTALS,
ALTERNATIVE HEALTH,PARANORMAL,NATURE,
METAPHYSICS,MYSTICAL ,SPIRITUAL DISCUSSIONS and Spiritual Tarot while living the Simple Country life. Tarot has a special and sacred place in my daily life.It has opened the world of spirit for me,since the language of Spirit is symbolic, Tarot is a wonderful tool to explore the Spiritual domain. This blog will be about my life as a Mystic, Crone, Christ follower and Tarot reader.
